- The number of IPv6 address block allocated directly from RIR to LIR
IPv6 address block is currently allocated by such RIRs like APNIC, ARIN, LACNIC, RIPE NCC and Afrinic, and they put specific data about allocated address range, prefix length, allocated country name and allocated data on their FTP servers everyday to open them to the public. This research uses that public data to count the number of allocated address block. The count is sorted by country and each RIR.
- The scale of IPv6 address block allocated directly from RIR to LIR (by /32 convertion)
By the reference of the data above (1), this research converts each /32 allocated address block into a unit. A unit indicates the scale of allocation. This conversion is sorted by country and each RIR.
- The scale of allocated IPv6 address block recorded on Whois database of RIR (by /48 conversion)
By the reference of the data above (1), this research uses Whois database as hierarchy search by each allocated address block. And that data is converted each /48 into a unit. A unit indicates the scale of assigned address block to the end-user. This conversion is sorted by country and each RIR.
